Here are some of the things that people have written after having attended a class at our kitchen

Thank you so much for a wonderful day. While I love Indian food, I have never been very confident cooking with spices. This day was very well organised and brilliantly executed. I have learnt a huge amount and feel really excited about trying out my new found cookery skills.

The class was intimate and the dishes we prepared were absoloutly delicious. I would recommend that anyone who wants to learn come and spend time with Lilly and Urvesh, it was a privilege to have spent this day with them.

Gujarati Rasoi has been an excellent opportunity to learn how to cook food from the culinary epicenter of India.

Lilly and Urvesh are a lovely mother and son partnership. I felt really comfortable having them teach me to cook really tasty recipes.

I can't recommend this course enough.

I love Gujarati Rasoi's food, I can't wait for Saturdays to come round just so i can bike down to broadway market and get my most favourite food ;  )  So the next logical step was doing the cooking class with lilly, wow - what a lovely teacher, so gentle, relaxed, generous and professional.  the best compliment I can pay them is i'll be booking another course straight away...

The class was superb, the pace was relaxed but we covered a lot of ground. I came away with plenty of curry to inspire me, but also enough knowledge and tips to feel confident about trying it myself. I've tried cooking my own curry before, but been disappointed with the results, now I think I know what I was doing wrong, what I need to prepare for next time, and I'm looking forward to plenty of experimentation... I'd recommend this course for anyone with basic cooking ability who wants to learn good foundations for indian cookery, and a few specific dishes too.

We had a fantastic day and I have discovered a new vegetable - okra!
The pace of the class and structure gave us each enough time to get a
feeling for the food- not just following the instructions - and by the time we left both of us felt we would be able to go home and replicate what we had learnt - though maybe not perfectly round chapattis! The food was delicious and we were pleased and proud to take dinner home to grateful friends who raved about it!

We even made a trip to the Taj store on Brick Lane yesterday to buy supplies!
