A class dedicated to learning how to create a delicious traditional fare. You will need to be an experienced cook to follow this class

On arrival you will be greeted with a cup of our house blended chai over which we introduce the day's lesson.

Lalita will then speak about the spices and their use, how and when to temper the spices and balance between flavours.

This day will give you the confidence to recreate what you have learnt at your home.

The day includes making

Bhurella Murcha.....................
Peppers made with a pre cooked filling made from gram flour mixed with spices, pepper are then popped into an oven to soften, a delicious and original starter

Mung bean Dhal with spinach..... . A delicious comforting mung bean dhal made with spinach and garlic, tomato and spices a perfect balance of spicy, sweet and salty, eaten simply with rice or chapatti, with a knob of butter meliting into it.

Okra ..................................... dishA classic indian vegetable dish made with okra and spices combine with khaddi and rice for a simply delicious warming soupy experience or eat with chappati and fresh yoghurt.

Khaddi......................
Khaddi is typically Gujarati, its made from gram flour spices, yoghurt and coriander, just this with simple basmati rice is enough to satify any savoury tooth with its combination of spicy, sour and fresh flavours.

Sakur Pura.................................... A sweet diamond shaped biscuit made with flour and sugar and cardamon, I was given a bag of these when I went traveling in India by a cousin, a delicious snack or perfect with chai.
